On April 1^st, Jouke De Vries, the Principal of University of Groningen visited CAU and met with Principal Sun Qixin and Deputy Principal Gong Yuanshi.

Principal Sun briefly introduced the history of CAU and the construction of “Double-first Class” Initiative. Principal Jouke De Vries explained his working progress since he took the position for the past half year, and shared the thoughts on cooperation with universities in China.

The two parties held in-depth discussion on the issues of common concern in cooperation between the two universities and also explored future cooperation activities.

Director of Principal Office of University of Groningen, Van Galen and Director of International Office of CAU, Feng Weizhe attended the meeting.
